First some stories …
Paul had 9-10/10 pain in his shoulder and unable to move it. Paul went from absolute disbeliever to absolute amazement!
Before coming to the clinic, Paul had a terribly painful right shoulder which inhibited him from sleeping. Where the pain from it would wake him up at night. Has had the pain for about six weeks and lots of restricted movement.
After getting ANF discs, the pain was halved and he had much greater range of movement.
Caleb, one of our terrific ANF practitioners down in Melbourne, is at the top of his game in triathlons. However, he still had a bit of a sore shoulder.
Not the extreme version, of not being able to lift the arm at all, just some compensation when lifting heavy objects up high.
Steroid injections … are they the best thing you can do?
Steroid injections may lead to more long-term harm than previously thought, new study says …
“Researchers saw acceleration of the patients’ osteoarthritis progression, as well as other negative effects including subchondral insufficiency fracture, osteonecrosis and rapid joint destruction with bone loss.”
In the Clinic, it is very common for people to come in after having a steroid injection as they still just don’t have the range or level of no-pain that they desire.
We recommend to come see us BEFORE getting a steroid injection if possible.
