Now what does gratitude really mean?
Gratitude is a warm feeling of thankfulness towards the world, or towards specific individuals. The person who feels gratitude is thankful for what they have, and does not constantly seek more.
Sounds pretty good eh? Let’s create an ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!
There is no other tool in the toolbelt that can take you from a really sh*t experience and crappy feeling than gratefulness.
Another way of looking at is how quickly can you see the silver lining of whatever you are going through currently.
Whether you have just had a crash and you have written off your car – can you jump into “I’m grateful to be alive AND woohoo now I get a new car?”
OR you have had a terrible fight with a loved one? How quickly can you see that “this hiccup will either bring you closer together or show you that the relationship is no more and it is time to move on.”
By seeing the world with the rose coloured glasses on, you get to dictate how much you enjoy everyday life.
So bring on more conscious gratefulness in the NOW!
